FACILITIES AND MEADOWBROOK
We are very fortunate to be hosted by Meadowbrook Stables in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Meadowbrook is a large and well-recognized organization and we are grateful that they are able to accommodate a team of our size. With 3 outdoor rings and 1 large indoor ring, we have plenty of space to put on shows for the teams in our regions and we even get to host Regionals this year! Meadowbrook has a great herd of horses with various different backgrounds, and we are able to learn a lot from these talented animals. We have also enjoyed working with Meadowbrook outside of our lesson and showing agreements. Some team members have found employment in the office or as a lesson assistant with younger riders at Meadowbrook, which has been a great way to foster a community feel between our team and Meadowbrook. We also seek out volunteer opportunities at Meadowbrook to help our members fulfill their service requirements!

OUR COACH
Ryan Carroll is a full time Trainer at Meadowbrook Stables. He holds a Business and Equine Studies degree from Bridgewater College, where he competed in IHSA. Ryan has worked as a groom, rider and instructor over the years and has been working at Meadowbrook Stables a little over 6 years. He currently coaches the IHSA team, Show Team, and is the Camp Director. He is looking forward to working with UMD and its riders this season and many more to come!
